Social Entrepreneur

A social entrepreneur organization is a group that recognizes a social problem and uses entrepreneurial principles to organize, create, and manage a venture to make social change. A social entrepreneur organization assesses success in terms of the impact they have on society.

Is to offer creative & balanced services to our local youths and young adults that utilizes their innate skill sets to influence their educational & future goals, provide job & apprenticeship opportunities, through hands on support

Our Mindset

KC Society, Southeast Volusia social entrepreneurial community teen organization, stresses the importance of a teens worth.  It is not good enough that we recognize who they are, but we must embrace who they can become.  The society is designed as an organized group of teens of varying ideas, talents, opinions, and interest who come together to increase their future worth. We offer programs, services, events, trips, community volunteer projects, and clubs to match their interest, sponsor events, and start businesses that will enhance the nature of our teens and who they will be one day.

Any teen who needs help will know they can come to our safe haven to get it. We partner with all organizations, agency, and churches whose mission is to increase the worth of our teens.

We function as a teen society.  Not simply a teen organization.

History

We operate as a nonprofit 501c3 recognized organization. The organization was formed March 23rd, 2008 and the activities started August 2008.  It has been brought to full fruition with much help from:

• Khalid Muhammed, former interim City Manager

and most importantly, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through whom all blessings flow.

We invite you to share a part in our vision.  Download our brochure and get more information regarding our vision and what we hope to accomplish.  We truly believe we can not do it alone. 

The society is in 3 phases and phase 2 has begun with phase 1 in full force.  We are always looking for volunteers and donors who want to make a change for our youth.  We know we can not do it alone. We need your help.  Therefore, my request is simple:  Can you help us?  We look forward to your reply.
